Court State vs a Nobody Story
The movie begins in 2013 and is set in Visakhapatnam, where Mettu Chandrasekhar (Harsha Roshan) lives. People fondly call him Chandu. He is the son of a security guard. In the same city, there is a girl named Jabili (Sridevi Appala), who is a student and lives with her family.
One day, Chandu and Jabili cross paths, and they instantly fall in love at first sight. Gradually, they start talking to each other, and their conversations on the phone go on for hours.
However, Jabili’s uncle, Mangapati, finds out about their love story when he sees Jabili at Chandu’s house. This enrages him, and he decides to ruin Chandu’s life. He falsely uses the POCSO Act against him and gets him sent to jail.
Chandu’s family is devastated by this. Determined to fight for justice, they seek the help of a lawyer from Vijayawada, Surya Teja (Priyadarshi), who takes up Chandu’s legal battle.

Court: State vs A Nobody is inspired by real-life incidents involving wrongful accusations under the POCSO Act. This love story movie is written and directed by Ram Jagadeesh. Movie is produced by Prashanti Tipirneni under Wall Poster Cinema production company. Runtime of the movie is 149 minutes.
Movie’s first poster released on August 2024 and began photography in September 2024.
Ram Jagadeesh wanted to make a romantic love story movie, but when he narrated his story to Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Priyadarshi didn’t like it. On Priyadarshi’s advice, Ram started researching real-life cases related to the POCSO Act. Eventually, he came across a case that caught his attention, and he developed a fictional story based on it.
